By now most of you have heard the most recent jackass statements that the esteemed Rev. Jeremiah Wright has made. I've got this theory that's been floating around in my head and I wanted to see what you guys thought.

Jeremiah Wright has spent his life telling everyone about the difficulties African Americans face in America. The idea of a black man rising to the highest position in the nation does little to promote the idea of racial inequality. It seems like he is intentionally sabotaging Obama at this point. Everyone has the right to say how they feel. However, keep in mind he is claiming all this social injustice while he is building a 10,000 sqft 1.6 million dollar house in a gated community. The guy is looking more and more like a con artist to me. As a black man he should realize that he is dealing an incredible blow to what could be a crowning achievement to his race.

Just an idea.

Definitely an interesting theory...

As for whether it is true or not, only time (and Wrights own big ass mouth that never shuts) will tell.

I didn't find it really confusing that a person who is apparently so borderline militant against inequality, that he would essentially sabotage Obama's campaign when he has a legitimate shot at the presidency.

Wright's little media blitz this weekend was the equivalent of "nanny nanny poo poo, now I'll get back at you" to Obama.

*sigh* And we're back to normal politics. Its was nice while it sorta lasted.

I just saw Hillary has pulled ahead in NC.. She was down 15 points two weeks ago.. nice going Rev. I hope he is selling a lot of his Cd's.

True... I'm just frustrated that none of the major candidates are properly addressing the border issue or the economy. These are, in my opinion, the most important problems at the moment, as they are the ones that immediately affect me. The main difference between the Democrat nominee and the Republican nominee is that one side plans on giving everyone free health care and the other doesn't. It seems quite silly to be spending massive amounts of money on health care when we already have an obscenely large debt and at the same time, we are being overrun by illegals.

Whoever is leading they will follow. The majority if them have said that at least. They can't afford that kind of meltdown.

Obama Clinton
Total - 1732 1597 <-- with pledged super delegates

That last "big win" for Hillary only netted her 9 delegates after it was allotted proportionally. 2,024 and it's over.

There is no such thing as a perfect candidate . I don't see free healthcare happening either way. Most people aren't even aware that the reason the fence is on hold is because environmentalist are blocking it. We have already bent all kinds of normal rules and regulations to get the fence moving. The "hybrid" fence is supposed to be double walled. The planners are hoping to get 360 miles done this year.

I think Mondale was the last candidate the DNC nominated when it came down to their superdelegates.. not good..lol.

Lolwhat? You mean like they were supposed to in the 70's? Yea right. Environmentalists are just a convenient excuse. Do you honestly believe that a few environmentalists are preventing the United States from securing its border?

I have a new theory as to why the government has been dragging it's ass for all these years on securing the border. I'll make a thread about it tomorrow.

The other possibility is that he believes his first priority is to his God, not politics or his race. As he points out, whoever gets elected, (he believes) God will still be there so it's better to stick with what he believes God wants that what he thinks Obama wants.

I don't believe in God, but if you do, then what Wright is doing is logical. You can't put God on hold during an election.
