The only issue I take with Cuban exiles and their descendants is their fervent support for the Cuban embargo. It would be best for both America and Cuba to end this policy, so that Cuba can naturally embrace capitalism to replace their faulty semi-Communist system.
If only the Cubans here understood this principle, because if they did, they'd realize no more of their people would become desperate enough to have to float to America on rafts if Cuba was opened up to trade with us.
Now, admittedly, our trade is far from a panacea to Cuba's poverty, but it certainly would help them out a lot. Of course, there are other issues as well, like the authoritarian nature of the Cuban government.
