Just flew over my house in formation. That has to be the best thing I've seen all week. I'm about to film it if they come by again. It was so awesome. The roar of their engines just made me weak. Omg it was so awesome.

Ahh, lucky you!  Reminds me of the "good ol' days" when I regularly went to air shows at El Toro USMC base, back when I lived in southern California.  The last time I experienced a fly by was for Veteran's day in 2006 when two F-18's flew over the Big House (huge football stadium of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI).  I just about had an orgasm seeing them fly overhead.

I used to live in California too, I regularly saw Chinooks, Black Hawks, and the occasional F14s.  Damn I loved living near a base.

I always wonder how sick as hell it would be to be able to fly a jet, that fast that high...

I love seeing jets fly, I just wonder how orgasmic it would be TO fly

btw... you think those pilots enjoy rollercoasters?

I see blackhawks, apaches, all kinds of helicopters all the time. That doesn't really excite me because I see them all the time and my dad flies them. So it's awesome to see F-22s... Considering how many are actually in service.

Every year in Torrance we have a military day parade.
There, a f-18 flies~50meters above us.
Fucking awsome.
There is a parade in 16 days.

All I get are old-ass BAE Hawk training jets flying over my office. The airforce nublets use them as they aren't trusted with F18's yet.

My friend lives right beside an army base. He told me they were doing drills with the helicopter one day and they decided to fly one of the crew members home (a few blocks away) in the chopper. He rappelled down to his front door.

I occasionally get A-10's over my house. Which is odd because the base is in the Northern part of CT.

An F-15 once took off over my head when I was driving towards the airport.

But now the F-15s stationed here are gone

No, they'd be too boring.

My dad was in for 13 years. Flew F 15s and 16s.

Lived on an AFB for the first 8 years of my live. I'm pretty much used to it.

Still owns though.

I've stayed @ RAAF Base Williamtown with cadets - The "Hornet's Nest", home of the F/A-18. Some of the dual take-offs and flyovers they did were orgasmic.

I see Chinooks and Apaches on a regular base everytime I'm near the beach. Must be doing some shoreline patrol or something although using 2 armed helicopter Gunships maybe a bit too much.

Last summer, I was out on my jet ski at a lake a couple hours south of where I live, and two F-15s popped up over this mountain in front of me flying low enough to see the white vapor trailing from the tips  of their wings.  It was so loud.... and quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen.
