What do you guys think? I've read there isn't anything huge with it and I went ahead and installed the Windows Defender thing that was next to it in the list ... what do you folks think? I'm ignoring it for now.

I've heard that a few people here have had problems with it. I'll wait until my windows asks for it, but you might want to wait for a response from someone here who has installed it.

Well I got the automatic update thing today ... Last time I updated SP2 right out of the box, I couldn't connect to the Internet and that's why I am wary about installing SP3 ... I might give it a few weeks. I haven't heard anything huge about it. One thing I read that if you regularly did the various Windows updates, then SP3 wouldn't change anything huge in your system so it's not totally necessary for a single home-user. Just wondering what the experiences of others were/are.
Just d\l it last night. Seems fine so far. Nothing noticeable has changed.
Installed sp3 on my comp and coworkers here at work. Both had BSOD on bootup, failed boot. Logged in to safe mode, used system restore from the previous day and they are ok now. Any ideas why? Also BF2 now doesn't work on my work pc. Guess I gotta reinstall.
Only negative thing I've heard is it will disable your custom theme (if you have a non-Microsoft one enabled).
