hi all

i want to hook up 2 neons in my car and make them both run through 1 switch

heres what i have so far

the only trouble i have is, i dont know what to hook up to what
if it was a normal switch it would be easier but it has a light on the top

i think i need to add a fuse or relay in there somewhere too

can anyone help?

You need transformers for your neon tubes, unless they are integrated into the units. Connect the Power terminal of the switch to a constant 12v souce (such as the battery) and the Ground terminal to either your Negative terminal or a metal part of the chassis.

Then run a wire from the ACC terminal to the Positive for your neons, and the negatives to the neons to either the Negative terminal, or a metal part of the chassis. Should be as easy as that.

The reason the switch has 3 terminals is, because as you said, there is a light at the top. The constant 12v line (PWR) will supply power to the light so it will stay on when the switch is off, or whatever. The ACC is the one you want to use as the switch with the Negative.
