Let's crush this exam!!!! Hehe,  even though I have practically done no studying .  But then again last minute studying is useless. I'm going for a 1 or 2    Anyway, good luck to anyone taking this.

Just remember - The Missouri Compromise came before the Compromise of 1850.

My friend thought it was the other way around. Good luck btw

As long as the essays are on topics that are actually significant (e.g. the civil war and WWII, not stupid shit like the economies of the colonies in the 1700s or the populist movement) I should be fine.

I'm planning on going into Computer Science anyways. I'm taking this (and took English Lit today) simply to see if I can get a 4 or 5 for credit. If not, no big deal, I don't care much for either subject.

Negative, Biology was by far the easiest tbh.

But yes, if the FRQs are some kind of obscure topic, DBQs are really easy.

I took AP US Government and Politics on Monday, and I also have APUSH tomorrow.  Honestly, I"m not worried.  My only AP worries are about AP Biology on Monday and AP Macroeconomics on Thursday.  My AP Biology teacher is the definition of fail.  He did nothing to prepare.  AP Macro is just annoying.  Good luck to all fellow AP'ers.

You can get 60/80 on the MC and 6-7s on the essays and still get a five. It should be easy.

you're fucked. the essays are never that easy. never.

@nuk: 5s are nice but the only classes you really need fives in are maths, sciences and languages. history you're fine with a four.

Edit: and besides, thats not necessarily true. the scores are curved, so if everybody does really well you have to do even better to get a five.

Fives are always nice. Its more a matter of personal esteem than academic necessity, I know.

I was basing the assessment off a scale I had seen; it put you comfortably within a five score, and probably more than test-specific curving will influence.

Studying for this, I really hope that we get a nice foreign policy related FRQ for each of the two choices. They are so easy to answer it isn't even funny. I don't want to have to write an essay about reform.

I've always wanted to do AP computer science, but my school doesn't offer it.

From what I hear, all that matters is that you pass(3-5).

Wow, good. I'm not too worried about it, because history/social studies is my favorite subject and the material sticks with me pretty well, but it is my first AP test so I'm kind of nervous.

For the most part; some colleges will only take 4s and 5s I believe. But if you get a 3 on anything, you're fairly safe; chances are that some credits will be awarded.

lol, that sucked.   The dbq on nam...like nobody in my class had studied that period...and i hadn't studied anything so everything was equalized . Not too happy about how i did, my essays are usually good, but this time it just wasn't flowing. Anyway, imo this test doesn't really matter, i'm not gonna be a historian/lawyer/writer or anything like that. (Please don't try to prove me wrong, i'm depressed enough) I think i did well on ap spanish though.

The MC was a little harder than I thought it would be...I'm guessing 65/80 for me.

The DBQ was nice, because foreign policy is always fun to talk about. Would you rather have had a question on reform in the 1830s?

Which FRQs did you pick?

for first one #2, didn't do second one Yeah, I already know i did badly. Actually the dbq wasn't too bad, i relied on the docs heavily though. Vietnam is interesting but not when you have to write an ap essay on it   Multiple choice section was pretty hard though, had to skip a lot of questions.

ZOMG YOU GUYS AREN'T ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT TEST QUESTIONS FOR 48 HOURS HURRRRRR!!!

At least that is what my test proctor sounded like.  The MC was average in difficulty.  The beginning was simple but it got hard.  The DBQ was nice because we just studied LBJ and Nixon.  I chose essays 3 and 5.  For 3, I did the Northeast and Midwest.

I'm expecting a 4 or 5 on the exam.

I fucked that test and made it my bitch.

I wrote 7 pages on the DBQ and used 6 of the documents.  I wrote 3 pages on the first FRQ and 2 pages on the second.  I feel so satisfied right now.
