I dont want to be wating 2 weeks for my stuff to get sent, 1 day to process the order, 2 days to get stock and post, 1 day dilivery.. is that hard to ask for?

Anyone had any bad experiances with them?

Yea.  Anything under 90 percent positive is probably a place you want to stay away from.  However, Jenspm recently bought a mobo from them and it went relatively smooth.

Edit:  Beat me to it.

each time i have orded from ebuyer at least one product was fualty, they were quick and helpfull in replaicng it but when you order a whole new pc you will neced all the components

overclockers dosnt seem reliable

and scan.co.uk have been good so far so ill see what the prices are like their

They don't manufacture the products so how is it their fault if something you have ordered is faulty??
I live near to the overclockers warehouse so I can pick up anything I buy, so I dont really have any expericence of there delivery service. However I will say this the company is a relativly small local company that in the past few years has become massive, they are still however based in a small industrial unit with relativly few staff to keep the overheads down, and therefore the prices you pay! So i think it's understandable that their deliveries may be a little slower than some of the large corporation e-retailers...

He's (apparently) talking about eBuyer there. Also a good UK component site, as is Scan.

The point still applies though you can't (unless it is obviously an error on their part) blame the retailer for faulty electrical components...

Overclockers, ebuyer and Scan are all probably in the same category. Never had any problems with any of them.

i wasnt poinitng out that fact that the product was faulty it was more to do with their service after it, like you said they dont make the products and nor would i expect them to test it.

I don't get the point of this thread.

Are you asking if Overclockers are reliable or are you claiming they are not? Also, I'm assuming you're English, since you're ordering from them, WTF is up with your spelling?

I've ordered about 1.5k's worth of stuff off them at various times, never had any issues with them or their delivery. The only thing that annoys me is paying standard shipping rates when I live 20 minutes from their storage.

I've ordered more than £50K worth of stuff (mostly not for me) off Overclockers. I've never had to wait more than 2 days for delivery, provided what I ordered was in stock.

I've had to RMA a few things from them too and I've had no trouble returning non-faulty goods I've got from there purely because I decide I don't like it (which some vendors dislike - but fuck 'em, distance selling act FTW!).

50k!? You have rich friends.

Most of the time they've had to ship to Holland for me, so it's a little slower. It annoys me though. It cost me 15/20 quid to get about 20kg of shit sent to Holland, and 8.50 to send a harddrive to the other side of Stoke! Bastards.

Yeah but from side of Stoke to the other is such a vast and perilous journey!!

I have order over £0.5k () of components from them and I have never had a single problem with them. Never needed to use their RMA service at all and everything comes in stupidly large packaging so nothing has ever got ruined. I ordered all of my PC from them (minus the screen) and it's great. So I would recommend that you should order from them.

EDIT: Plus they always have the latest components at very good prices.

EDIT 2: Seriously dudes, how can you say they are shitty or look shitty if you've never even used them before?

This is probably a case of 'shit sticks'.

Basically, all online retailers suffer from this problem - they can never be perfect 100% of the time. But, say they process 1000orders a day and 1 of them get's fucked-up - that one person then goes and rants on a review site, but the 999others don't go posting about how good the company is - because they're happy.

Lots of people say Dabs.com is shit, but I've never had a problem with them (though the range of their stock is going downhill).
Lots of people say Overclockers is shit, but some people have never had a problem with them.

Lots of people say RetailerX is shit, but some people have never had a problem with them...
