I took this photo about 15 minutes ago, on the way home from the supermarket, the location is cathedral square, the centre of my city (thats part of the cathedral in the background).

20 metres opposite the guy holding the sign was an evangelical christian preacher, and 10 metres to my left was a confused-looking muslim couple. Isn't this sort of freedom worth protecting?

I personally like the mid-50s character who makes appearances outside of my high school every now and again preaching Jesus, the savior of mankind.

I also enjoyed the reaction on his face when he called a kid with a girl in his car a "sinner" and almost immediately got a condom thrown in his direction...

I'm all about it. Strange how someone with a sign promoting X religious belief rarely is the subject of violence, yet when someone has a sign that says "there is no god" they are pretty much guaranteed to be spit on or attacked. I've seen this several times here in Portland.
