I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but the Supreme Court ruling in Kelo vs. New London was pretty fucked up.

Actually not unconstitutional, IMHO, but it is a disgrace.  Gays have all the rights hetero's have...but they just had to go beyond the people (PROP 22 PASSED banning recognition of marriage of same sex couples).  THis is why people hate gays..because they push things way too far...they seek "additional" rights and privileges..and they are unethical in their process.

So here's to AIDS wiping them off the planet!  *clink*
If they don't have the right to marry, and heterosexual couples do have the right to marry, then the statement "Gays have all the rights hetero's have" is incorrect, as gays are lacking the right to marry.  In pushing for the right to marry, they are simply pushing for one of the rights hetero's have.

I'm sure you guys would feel the same way about blacks fighting for civil rights if you had been raised in the South back during the Jim Crow era.

So far as I can see, homosexuals haven't crossed any lines yet in demanding equality.  The only issue I see here is one involving the concept of "hate speech."  See, I'm disgusted by homophobia, but I realize people have the right to express themselves no matter how repugnant their ideas might be.  I guess the only real line some gays might have crossed is attempting to ban prejudiced expression against them.

But take comfort in knowing that I and many other people who understand the logic of equality will defend your right to be bigoted just the same as we will defend the civil rights of gays.
