I didn't skip on my senior skip day, it was actually pretty stupid anyway. Our english teacher gave us a surprise test (worth a full exam grade) for all of us who stayed. It consisted of one question asking what her name was. The few students that skipped dropped a letter gradeBert10099 wrote:
Well don't fucking skip then.Miggle wrote:
And the school administration is threatening any seniors who skipped to be kept out of the graduation ceremony and forbidden from going to prom.
How fucked up is that?
We had our skip day awhile ago. I did not skip. Anybody who did not have a note for a legitimate reason of absence got a Saturday detention. Over 20 seniors got a detention. That complained, but hey, they shouldn't have skipped school

The test was probably in the curriculum, and I'm going to guess they did know about it.N00bkilla55404 wrote:

Yes, a test where all it asks is the teachers name that is worth the same as an exam...right.
tbh, that was the extra credit question on our first calc test
"what is your teacher's surname?"
first, people assumed "surname" meant anything from first to full name
second, they spelled "Reutershan" as "Roostershan"

What school do you go to?
at my school senior ditch day is like the entire year....cowami wrote:
senior cut day = day after prom
and several other days before that, but that's besides the point
also the school is like 5 mins away from the beach ( how incredibly lucky we are) so as the year ends if the weather is good the parking lot is empty by like 10 in the morning
lol. I had world economics last year (senior class) and I was the only one to show up on senior skip day. I heard our school security lady went to all the local places kids were likely to be looking for seniors. She went too early though so no one got caught.
5/15/08 is senior ditch day??? huh? You guys are supposed to ditch 8/8/08 At least then you won't get in trouble for skipping and will be able to go to graduation
Mine was cinco de mayo, perfect day to ditch
