Iran tried democracy all on their own and we overthrew it.

It's hardly their fault that the US/UK destroyed their democracy and installed and supported a brutal dictatorship instead.

True... but...  It's also not our fault that radicals overthrew the dictator, and now, they have a pseudo-democracy that functions more like a theocracy.
