Well, I suppose if you're going to jail for having sex with a high school girl, you might as well get the most action in that you can, right? Well, at least that's what cops are accusing teacher Allen James Cole of Travis High School in Texas of doing.

Austin police arrested government teacher Allen James Cole on the charge of having "an improper relationship" with an 18-year-old Travis High School student.

Another teacher notified police about the inappropriate relationship between Cole and the student. According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by KXAN.com, the student told police she had met Cole, 34, several times at his apartment between May 6 and May 10.

The student told police she had sex with Cole more than 20 times over that 5-day period.

The girl was able to describe the furnishings in the apartment's living room and bedroom. A search warrant confirmed the details the girl identified.

She's 18, old enough to consent. Nothing illegal there. Against the school codes, sure. Therefore the school should punish both accordingly (fire the teacher etc..), but I don't see why the law needs to get involved when no law was broken.

Indeed. It is totally unprofessional and he certainly deserved to be fired for it (because it was with a student, age is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, so long as they are legal).

Exactly. This happened at my high school, but he provided her with alcohol also (which was illegal). The police basically made a deal where he had to quit teaching and they would let him be.
