What is ironic, is that I have an ethernet cable through the attic and into my computer
Nothing ironic about a more reliable connection.kylef wrote:

What do you play FPS games with right now? The mouse I mean. Probably either a wired mouse or a wireless gaming mouse, right?liquidat0r wrote:
I've never found that to be a problem.haffeysucks wrote:
The main thing I hate about wireless is the response time difference.
Now try using something like this.
"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
I'm not against wireless. I prefer a usb mouse because it seems better to me for whatever reason. I've had the same optical mouse since 2003.
I don't mind wireless things too much, as long as they're some quality. I've got a pretty expensive Logitech wireless keyboard here, no problems at all, except from the fact that no more than two keys can be pressed at the same time.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
My worry is running out of batteries, especially when the device consumes non rechargeable. This is what made me fcking ecstatic over the G7, which when I used it I enjoyed it quite a lot, however it did run out at inopportune times though I usually had it changed before it ran out or quickly that it didn't matter. However, I played BF2, CS, and CoD very competitively and those rare but inopportune moments really ruin your day at the wrong time.
That said, the G5-2 has been my baby ever since it came.

This pretty much sums up my opionion, except I had the Logitech Wireless Desktop (mouse & keyboard combo thing).Defiance wrote:

I'm much happier with my G5 and G15.
Also, in terms of internet, I'm now in the basement, and not in my room because of the stupid wireless. Because, now, I have a 50' cable running across the celing to my router.
