meh, I love my standard Dell keyboard. I've had it for 5 years and it has never failed me. Even if it does though, I have 3 spare ones for backup

Unnecessary? I use it to change song, see what song is playing. Change volume, check the time and date. See who is on TS and who is talking on TS... How hot my computer is, etc etc.

Unnecessary? I use it to change song, see what song is playing. Change volume, check the time and date. See who is on TS and who is talking on TS... How hot my computer is, etc etc.

You can change songs and volume with the lcd screen? Mine isn't a touch screen. I have to use the buttons below the lcd to change volume/songs.

It just seems counter productive to switch through things on the lcd when I can plainly view it on my desktop.

I bought a microsoft comfort 2000 a while ago and returned it the next day for a microsoft 500. I couldn't use the ergonomic layout in 2142 ... shift key was too small, but the curve was more noticeable *i think* than on yours.
