The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Hmmm, when they talk about Q2, Q3 etc, they tend to mean the last few weeks of that quatre, soooo, september time me thinks? Meh fuck it, I got an E8400 that runs sweet as a nut

edit: you know what, i could care less as the Q9400 is the Q9300 with higher clocks, which i'm going to do anyway. easily. i'm pretty sure all the price cuts are just for procs with higher clocks, not with physical differences like moar L2 cache (cba to check all of them though).

I'm sure the blanks don't mean they aren't dropping the price. A Q9550 and A9450 at $316 = fail

I'm guessing somewhere between $266 and $316 per 1000.
