i dont know what i think that much about the new expasion but all i can say is i think they came out with an expasion to soon im srry but thats my opinion.

I cant say this loud enough:
Both the packs are going to blow if they are not allowed in a regular map rotation with normal BF2 maps.  It is going to suck so bad if you have to restart the whole game to play a new map.  That is one of the worst problems besides the lag with SF.  You can't have Warlord right after Karkand...they need to seperate servers. 



On the other side.  I am looking forward to the second booster pack.  Sounds like Dice listened to all those threads about people that complain about the lack of equipment and what made DC so popular.

No... I saw it... that has nothing to do with the damage radius.
If there is a minimum arming time, they won't be able to fire at their feet anymore.  It'll just hit the ground and not explode.

If they really end up screwing up the grenade launcher no one will pick assault any more haha oh well i never use it much thanks to the crappy weapons.

Any idea when the patch will be out? Cause it says new Anti Tank class and i play that the most and im almost gonna be a first sergent soon so im wondering if i should wait and keep my unlock until i see what the new AT weapon is or just unlock one when i reach FS

My personal favorites:

    * Players can no longer jump and shoot at the same time
    * "Prone Spamming" is now fixed

    * AA missile lock has been improved

I think it said Feb 8th (so i guess at best it'll be done by Feb 20ish)  With SF they went and gave high ranked players extra unlock points to unlock more weapons (no clue if they'll do that here).  If there is a weapon you really (Medic G36E ) want then I suggest you get it.

Also I see the GL as an improvement.  No longer will the noob tubes flinch in fear and end up winning the fight.  Now the GL can be used for what it was meant for; 1: clearing buildings.  2: Mortar bombardment (sort of)

yep i wish they let you unlock what ever weapon you wanted for the class instead of unlocking it in order cause the L85A1 is SO shitty i dont wanna waste my unlock on that cause i just got an unlock and then i have to get 30,000 points to get another one and i wont even be using the unlock i got

I dont know im either gonna go with the SCAR or wait for the g36e

i sort off agree with you, i only got SF at christmas and still getting used to those maps!

but i am excited about this euro forces booster, 3 new maps and more kits/weapons so its all good. I just wonder if they will have more awards for this booster, there was no mention of it but i hope there is, would be nice to see even more awards imo

an assault gun is really just self propelled artillery, but used in direct as opposed to indirect fire. the post ww2 development of self propelled guns has led to more specilisation, especially with the addition of new classes of weapons [antitank missles and rockets]. but there are certainly a myriad of SP artillery currently in service with all major armies.

many of the 'tank' looking SP howitzers are now used for indirect fire, so they're not technically 'assault' guns, but they're exactly the same vehicle concept anyway. examples are the US army's paladin and the PLA's type 83.

the airmobile guns used by the army are closer to true assault guns, like the ill fated sheridan. the antitank role of assault guns has been relegated to tank destroyers or antitank missles mounted on everything from trucks to apcs.

The SA80 is the L85A1 and I am going to ask my friend to dl me a copy of EF and the later booster over his T1 line. Of course I am going to pay him to do it for me on my EA account!

So how are they going to factor in the two new unlocks (Sniper and AT)? They would obviously have to be added to the SF list of unlocks, but the only way to unlock them is if they:
a) Added more ranks so that they would be attainable
or
b) Be able to begin to unlock SF unlocks at the rank of Lance Corporal as in vanilla BF

Can anyone help clarify this for me?
