True, however that doesn't mean I wouldn't watch it.

continue watching to see what more bullshit they come up with, unless its something gross ie makes me feel ill, in which case I would just change channel.
Nice offensive stereotype. You managed to slip some Islamaphobia into a debate about TV viewing? One track mind, Chill.Mek-Stizzle wrote:

Did you catch any of the autopsy live series which was on a few months ago? It got allot of complaints. I found it very educational, stomach churning, but educational none the less. It was on at 11pm every night and had warnings after every break, yet it still received a barrage of complaints. You would think a programme call 'autopsy live' would provide a clue to its content. The people who complain about these kind of show have little to do.Vilham wrote:

In the digestive track episode he went from the mouth right down, until all that was left on the table was an arse hole about 2inches across.
Indeed people complaining about something they CHOOSE to watch is fucking stupid. If you don't like it you have the right to change the channel.JahManRed wrote:

These channels are pay channels and therefore are subject to certain FCC exceptions.FallenMorgan wrote:
How is it that they can say whatever they want on Showtime or HBO?

Vote with your feet, so to speak. Don't watch channels that don't adhere to a high moral standard.twiistaaa wrote:

I'd be a little mad, especially if there were kids around, and I had to try and explain...

And to the OP. I dont get offended at anything. I get lulz from others being offended. Especially those that believe in a god or diety.
EDIT: Not the one i was looking for but it works.

Good for you and your taste (or lack thereof). I'm glad you were raised to appreciate offensive stuff. I take exception to this though.Ajax_the_Great1 wrote:

Fuck the FCC. Raise your god damn kids.
I'm the Dad to a five year old. I don't have a problem with regulating which shows my son sees. I'm raising my "god damn kid" responsibility. I fail to see why when watching a cartoon or Jeopardy/wheel with my son, should be subjected to commercials for shows such as CSI, 48hours type shit. Yea he's watching mush there but it isn't hurting him there, but then the commercials start. CSI type commercials show extreme acts of violence and/or sexual content. I don't get a warning to flip the channel. I end up hitting the pause on the DVR remote, waiting a few minutes and fast forwarding. But that is usually reactive. Its crap and it shouldn't happen.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
No one cares. I have no idea why you continue to bother getting your panties in twist by comparing the events of the past with the ethics of the modern era.David.P wrote:

What would be great is if you could enable/disable certain things. Some DVDs have the ability to enable or disable the bleeping of fowl language. It'd be cool if you could enable or disable censors, except the problem is that the show "The Girls Next Door" gets most of it's DVD sales, most likely, from how the DVD version is uncensored.
I would use the V-Chip if I had kids and I was really concerned about it. Otherwise, I wouldn't particularly care.
I think the networks would probably regulate themselves, like they do now. Comedy central is (I think) the only non-pay channel where you can hear words like "fuck" after 10pm, since I don't know of any other networks that make use of FCC safe harbor hours.

Pretty much the same, you really notice it here with family guy and scrubs (but you have to be really sad to notice it on scrubs). In family guy they bleep out "fuck" when its on tv, no matter what time its on, as soon as you buy it on dvd even when its still owned by the BBC they don't bleep it out. Scrubs is just sensored as its generally shows at 6pm here.Ender2309 wrote:

Once I saw an uncensored version of Drawn Together, not like there's anything on there I'd like to see. I'd love more channels that have less regulation after a certain time. For example, if a show is on at 4 AM it's unlikely that a lot of people will be watching it. I've seen a late-night infomercial advertising sex toys.SenorToenails wrote:

Family Guy actually sounds funnier with the words bleeped out, but just words like "fuck" or something. I've never heard it without the bleeps, so I dunno. With Scrubs I haven't seen anything that would be bleeped. NBC shows seem more self-regulating.Noobeater wrote:
