- Tony Blair's plane almost shot down by Israeli jets
more like vigilance
Positive Public Opinion of Israel would have skyrockted here if they actually did shoot down the jet.
what about the pilots?
A man like Tony Blair is responsible for alot of deaths
I don't see anything particularly wrong with the interception, the plane didn't respond to their calls of identification.
close but not close enough
Today they're going to find the video Blair made before the flight where he said he's going to get his 70 virgins . . .
Damn, so close to killing that bastard.
"you know life is what we make it, and a chance is like a picture, it'd be nice if you just take it"
Eternal vigilance is the price we pay for eternal freedom. TB should be more careful.
wow, what would have happen is they did...
shit would fly in oh so many directionsxRBLx wrote:

Do you guys imagine what would have happened if they shot down that plane with Blair in it? What a problem for the UK, despite what you Brits think of Blair.

I see no problem here.sergeriver wrote:

You guys would have accepted an apology and that would have been enough for you?jord wrote:

Obviously I can't speak for the Government. I would have accepted an apology anyway...sergeriver wrote:

He's not even in an official position anymore. He's just an ex Pm...
He's a British citizen, it doesn't matter his official position, which btw has something to do with negotiating the peace in the ME. Remember that Israel destroyed half of Lebanon over two kidnapped soldiers.jord wrote:

Yes but he was a politician. Which means his life is less valuble than a british Citizen's.sergeriver wrote:

Well, that is your opinion and mine as well, but he still is important to the UK government. Think about Brown having to deal with that.jord wrote:

Considering the British response to the soldier captives taken by the Iranians, I'd wonder if Brown would even demand an apology.
You certainly burned our Goverment and Military there.Turquoise wrote:

Played.
what a bunch of noobs
Don't get me wrong... I like the U.K. for many things. I love your music, your comedies, your movies, and your women. I just get this impression that your country caters too much to certain Islamic groups.jord wrote:

Granted, America has the opposite problem. We've got balls, but we often lack brains.
