When I play Medal of Honor Allied Assault with xfire running, it crashes on the "Connecting to server..." screen.  I get one of those xfire error messages with the option to upload or cancel.

Code:

When I play the game without xfire running... no problems at all.  I really need to be able to follow people through xfire.  This just started happening, last week this did not happen.  I'm running 64-bit Vista Home Premium.

Try the xfire forums? They have a really great support section.

just disable in game chat for Mohaa in the xfire option panel
Go to options -> games. Click mohaa and click disable x-fire ingame.

Obviously you cannot use the in game chat anymore so you'll have to alt tab out every time you want to type. Probably not the solution you wanted, but it usually works.

Reinstalling MOHAA did not fix the problem.  However, disabling in-game chat did fix it.  Not exactly an ideal solution, but at least I can follow people now and I can always talk over TS/Vent.

yeah this is a major flaw for xfire, it still happens in a ton of games which have been 'fixed'
