Nepal is now a republic!

After an overwhelming vote, the Maoist led constituant assembely has voted to become a republic and have given the royal family 15 days to move out of the royal palace.

The Maoist communists are still listed as a foreign terrorist group by the US.

What do you think the future holds for Nepal? Will the violence surrounding the communist struggle against the monarchy be gone forever or will this move towards opression? Will the US attack or overthrow this new democracy and replace the monarchy in their war on terror?

Not dissimilar to what is/was going on here in Northern Ireland. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.

The war of terror isn't going anywhere, maybe its time to go back to fighting the good old red menace.
