An Airbus is a european brand of airplanes. Like Boeing and McDouglas. It's a brand. The Boeing 777 is an airplane and so is the Airbus A380.
Airbus is a brand of airplanes. Airbus is not a means of transport, as you cannot haul cargo and people on a logo. It's still an airplane under the brand. If you'd put an Airbus logo on a 777, it would still be an airplane.

Airbus manufactures and sells commercial aircraft, so yes, an airbus is an airplane

a bus is a vehicle that moves large numbers of people to a location for a fee, an air-bus would do the same, but airborne, making it an aircraft, if it did not use an airfoil design to stay aloft, however, it would not be a true airplane
