Am I the only one who feels that CS:S was miles better than 1.6? I hated the old one for all the idiots who played it. I can feel no massive difference between the two! I feel the better graphics massively helps the game, the recoil and bullet spread to me makes no difference.
Nope you are not alone my friend. CSS is by the far best version of the CS series. Though imo it needs more stuff like.

New Hostage AI
New Game Mode or two. There where actually some rumors going on on the Steam Forum about some people finding new stuff in the GFC files that pointed to new game mode. All thou Valve didn't declare anything about it and just kept quiet.

New weapons. The game have been out for quite some time. Some new guns would not kill of the game but merely make it more popular. Btw no grenade launcher, lasers, Abombs, rocket launchers and you name it. Normal Rifle type of weapons with bullets and such. There are plenty of ones to pick from so it's just to take one and make a model for it.

Note: I don't care if it's similar to another gun in the game, I just want more guns to pick from and I really don't care if M4 have filled in the Medium Rifle spot or that the AWP or Scout have both filled the powerfull sniper spot and semi powerfull sniper spot.

Walk through team mates. I would love to see this but they should make it so that you can't go RIGHT through someone as it then will stop you. Because you can actually squeez yourself through a thick crowd of people.
Far to many noobs have taken an instant backstep right into me and gotten killed and whined that I was the noob when they are to afraid of rushing.

Anyway about CS2 from what I have learned Valve are like still thinking on what to do with it but someone on Steam said they started to make it but I can't really confirm that.

Btw that CS Online is NOT CS2, not by a long shot.
It's just CS:CZ with some new models and weapons and a small gfx change on some models. It's only online and it's awaible in Korea and contries around it.

It's free to download but Pay Too Play.

Oh and that promo video was just CG movie.

Great, more weapons that people can ignore so they can buy the Deagle, M4/AK-47 or AWP like everyone has been doing for the past four years. Counter-Strike's community hate new content these days. Just look at the dynamic weapon pricing; not a single server runs it these days.

Well Valve shut it off for some reason but the CS Market chart is still there thou. And there have been people using it due to that I notice some weapons had been bought.

But during the time it was on it actually was played quite a bit. People where buying guns up to millions of times per week.

If Valve where to add new guns to the game I'm better the majority will test around with them, the pro people will whine as spoiled kids as usuall as they are almost the ones that keep whining about stuff.

Btw people who don't whine usually don't rush the forums to complain about it and concider that CSS had like 82 000 to 92 000 players at prime time made the whiners to be quite a small part of the community. Less than a 1% every single time.
