It wouldn't do much, infact it would probably start a war/coup of some sort. I remember reading an Article about how the Generals of that country are so pro-Mugabe that they're telling the soldiers to vote for Mugabe or leave the military (or something).

So basically you'd need to kill off the entire Mugabe party and the top brass to actually change alot.

Basically, invade Zimbabwe

You don't invade a country like that. Because when you do, it's the civilians who suffer first. The army will take the food rations and petrol and I'd imagine the country would be crippled beyond all hope.

I also forgot to mention the police, who have been busily arresting opposition supporters (for years now, but it has intensified for obvious reasons).

In fact everyone with a gun in Zimbabwe at the moment is to blame for the current situation. And the only people with guns who could help in the country would be the UN.

Considering the amount of control Mugabe has over his security services, plus the high number of deaths/attacks on opposition members challenging his position, I'd think that was proof enough. If he wasn't ordering these killings, then he must live under a rock in his own country.
Probably isn't proof.
More than enough to convict this guy, I mean who else in Zimbabwe could even possibly be responsible for its current condition? I mean seriously.
And being a poor leader isn't a crime.

Where did I propose just to shoot him?  Quote the entire phrase, with the judge part included.

Which I did quote, and you have yet to tell me what law gives you the right to kill him.

Bubs you are annoying.  I never said just shoot him.  I said he deserves to be judged, sentenced and then killed under International law in the Hague.  But I guess that won't be enough for you.  You are more worried about these little law details than the crimes Mugabe committed.  GG.

And I asked how you were going to prove, in a court of law, that he was guilty.

Burden of proof is hardly a little detail.

I ain't proving anything.  The International Court of The Hague has lawyers enough to prove him guilty.

But first they need proof enough to arrest him.  And proof is hard to get.

I heard he shared a beach house in Cabo with Idi Amin once.

Then he tried to break up Brangelina.

What if a guy just happened to have a bone to pick with Mugabe... and what if he just happened to be armed with a high power sniper rifle... and what if he just happened to take out his anger on Mugabe... and what if he just happened to never be found?

There's no need to shoot Mugabe.  Plane crashes happen all the time.  You know...  accidentally.

Proof, are you kidding. There is lots proof, but thats not the issue where in Zimbabwe the courts, police and the military are controlled by Mugabe. He was appointed by the UN, so his international credentials are strong. It would be obvious to point out that there is no proof outside Zimbabwe but even if there were it would be hard to prosecute him. Could you imagine the International outcry. Remember that he was voted into the UN food program by UN representitives, yes most were African, but it does say something about his respect by many world leaders and people.

According to Bubs there's no proof.

Let me go through the discussion for you:

1)  Serge said to try him in court in Europe under international law.

2)  I pointed out that there wasn't proof enough to arrest him, much less find him guilty

3)  Serge accused me of ignoring the fact that he'd suggested we go to court

That is to say: there is no proof.  Even in Africa.  You honestly think there'd be a paper trail?  Further, whether there's any proof there is irrelevant.
