I do this twice a week, immediatly after 2 of my workouts I'll fill a tub fulll of ice (this is done at the gym) and lay in it for about 10 mins

Well, after you have worked out you should be doing some easy muscle exercises. While they may seem loose, when you wake up you'll find yourself being really stiff. Try just working lightly on the muscles you have used (ie if you have used your back muscles, do a tiny bit of posture exercise - nothing too strained)

your post-workout meal is the second most important in the day, right behind breakfast.

Down a shake right after you're done, and then eat a GOOD meal within 45 minutes of workout's end to gain more from the workout.  Good meal doesn't equate to mcdonalds or pizza, btw.

Take before and after... Creatine and the Oreos are a bad joke I assume. You shouldn't go on a supplement like creatine that fast it's a supplement first make sure you're diet / whatever you're eating is OK after that see what supplements can add to it.

1. Stretch. Your muscles will be all managled from being torn, you need to realign the fibres so growth is correct.
2. Drink a protein shake.  Your body is now in a maximum state to take on protein. Its known as an anablolic window and it lasts for about 45 mins.  30grams of protein and 200-300ml of WATER.  Protein absorption will be faster with water and for god sake dont use milk as protein abosrption will be slower than a wounded slug.  It will taste like shit but you're not drinking the shake for taste remember?
3.  Eat.  Get a meal down you as soon as possible.  Usually stuff here protein carbs and fat.  Yes fat you need it for growth and hormonal release.  Nuts, olive oil etc that sort of stuff so no cheeky Big Macs on the way home and definatly no alcohol.

But what's your overall diet like? No point working out if your diet is shit.

oh c'mon! So you have to lift annnd you have to worry about what you eat? Is this like a full time job?

Anyway, i usually don't eat breakfast or lunch, i may have a snack though, whatever is in the fridge. For dinner I usually have pretty healthy stuff such as grilled chicken with rice or fish with poatoes.
