Nope you can just buy one... the other one is for the Xbox and will be made available free of charge (because they value their Xbox customers so much... aka boosting sales, hence booster pack).
The PC version (euro force) is not a booster pack but a booter pack... you get booted in the arse because we are dumb enough to buy something we should have received for free in the game from the start.
So unless you have an Xbox, leave the Armoured Combat booster alone.

Next, EA will make us pay for patchs, If this Booster Pack thing works for them. You will never get a new map or weapon with patchs. I will bet that the next BF game will have an online monthly charge!

Don't get we wrong. I don't mind buying games and addons. But when will the gold digging end.
I guess the SF addon did not make good profit. The Booster Packs are their next try at milking gamers.

I will buy them both if they sell hardcopies. I don't purchase anything over the internet.
the things that make the most difference in gameplay are new maps. the way this game is designed, all the weapons and vehicles are mostly superficially different from each other. new armies are really just new models and skins that do the exact same thing as the old armies.
bf2 has been map starved from day one. the original was $50 for 12(13) maps, at $4.16 per map. special forces was $30 for 8 maps, $3.75 per map. don't be fooled by them splitting the booster packs up, it's really just one big $20 expansion for six maps, at $3.33 per map. at least the price has been decreasing. but it doesn't come close to real good games like UT2004, which came with a whopping 100+ maps.
you're just paying money to play the same game in new locations with these 'expansions.' that's all. new armies, weapons, and vehicles are just facelifts of the same weapons we've all been using since day one.
