Does anyone know if IT jobs are paid well in the US?

I'm studying IT now and am going to continue through college, I'm thinking of moving over to the US after college.

Yes, they are payed well, depending on what you are doing. (I'm not in the US though) xD

Depends on what you do and where you do it. On our coast is the DC area. I live 90 miles south and we always have had jobs since I started working 99.

edit: I feel as though I am very well paid.

Hm, I think they count it as a more "skilled" job over in the US. Also, the internet is booming more there than it is here.

Depends on where you go and your experience. Just going to school doesn't necessarily mean you will get a good paying job. You need to have experience with it. I have over 8 years of Tech experience and that is why I got this great paying job at Lockheed Martin.
