Well, I didn't get to see the Louvre or Notre Dame (except from the Seine) but it was still a great trip.
Our hotel was right by the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, right off the Trocadero. So got some up-close and personal pics of both the Arc and Eiffel. We were there over 18 Jun, so got to see the festivities associated with that holiday.
The French were gracious and generous hosts, even if the breakneck schedule was such that it didn't allow for any worth-while sightseeing. Just experiencing Paris (and a couple of other French cities/areas) was truly amazing. And sitting in a powered-up Rafale was really really cool.
No snootiness from the general population...just some hygiene issues.
