"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
I had a half day due to heat.
We had a wild thunderstorm at 7:30 in the morning that made the power flicker quite a few times...
Go figure

I'm having a moderate thunderstorm right now at nearly 8:30 in the evening that has made the power kinda flickerWinston_Churchill wrote:

Nothing's gonna top last week's storm (in terms of shit in DC) for a while.
why do northerners start in september and end in june while in the south they start in august and end in may?
here in WA where I live, we have just been getting a shit ton of rain. it snowed on the hills a couple hundred feet above my house. It's weird weather. I sure do love working outside in those thunder storms....
In NY we had 97F temperatures. Most or all schools in NJ had 1/2 days because of the heat

hah, I heard about that! Dry side of Oregon my ass. It was in the 50s here.
No snow down here but it's been nice and cool
It honestly felt like November today. Nice little bit of snow in the morning, a ton of wind, and temperatures below 50.
Yes, and I will be laughing when it is 70 and sunny in late September for us, and 60 and raining for you.CommieChipmunk wrote:

We start on August 5th this coming year and will end on like May 20th or something. It gives us more days to makeup at the end of the year for hurricanes.
Reasonably warm in the UK, about 26C yesterday. No school for me at the mo lel.

Snow? You're in Oregon? Shit, we're having record heat here in NE Ohio, I'll trade you some hot for some of your cold.
I like the cold to be honest. Its cool to say you saw snow in June.
