That's just taking the piss. I always liked C&H but that's low for them. They're practically making fun of Tim's mis-carriage.

He posted a massive read about why he chose to make the story go like that, and the quote in the last frame of the C&H comic is words he actually wrote. For C&H to just copy and paste this into their own comic shows that they're obviously making fun of him, or at the very least running out of original ideas. I used to laugh lots at C&H and CAD but now C&H gets a much less nicer view from me tbh. What do you think?

Oh they were making fun of CAD.

Now I get it and yes it is funny as Buckly really should try to keep sad his personal life out of his comics, comics are supposed to be funny but he made one depressing about a depressing thing in his pwn life, which is kinda annoying for the people who want to be entertained for it.

Well, occasionally artists do a serious comic every now and again. I can remember at least a few Peanuts comics that weren't that funny, but were serious. I think it's nice to see the artist do something serious every once in awhile.

On the topic though, it was kind of low, but someone gave a good point. It's a comic, meant to be funny, don't bring your real life issues into it, especially on the Internet, as people will make fun of it in some way or another.

CAD writer Tim Buckley's girlfriend had a miscarriage and he made a comic about it. C&H are already not big fans of Buckley and they feel that he shouldn't make overly serious and depressing comics about is personal life when his comics are intended to be funny. They felt that Buckley's comic was essentially saying "plz feel bad 4 me and my girlfriend", so they made fun of it.

It is an attack on Buckley's comic (and the excessively wordy style that many of his comics have), not making fun of him for what happened that spurred him to make the comic. While I do think it is in a bit bad taste I also don't think Buckley should have made the comic in the first place and also you guys should know that by the sheer fact that he posted in on the internet he set himself up for being made fun of for it.

If this grows larger, I see some fun things approaching.

Buckley goes all srs on C&H's asses, C&H goes at Buckley h-a-r-d. If it becomes one, Buckley's gonna lose this war.

Also, I find this C&H parody hilarious. As well as all other shoops there are out there.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. CAD isn't actually funny now and hasn't been for quite a while, on the other hand, C&H is consistently hilarious..

I think it's actually fairly funny, the way they've done it and all, Buckley should keep his shit personal life out of what are supposed to be funny comics.. GG C&H.

I never heard of CAD or C&H until today.

IMO, I do agree that Mr. Buckley should of kept his personal life out of his work.

C&H's comic was low but I don't think they intended on hurting him personally, just his work.

I could be wrong, I don't know the magnitude of their animosity toward each other.

C&H is attacking CAD, and what it stands for. C&H is not making fun of miscarriages. It is not laughing at the author of CAD for what's happened to him. The author of C&H, like many others, probably isn't too fond of CAD and is trying to make the point that a comic should be to the point, relevant, and funny. Actual miscarriages are none of those things, and have no place in a webcomic.
