The Happening looks like the kind of movie I would want to see. Didn't they just release a Hulk movie a few years ago? I don't get the remake or whatever it is.

They weren't happy with the reviews or profits from that one and felt the character could do better. This one pretends the other one didn't exist and retells how he became the Hulk.haffeysucks wrote:

I've heard nothing good about The Happening.
I love how the company who made the Hulk are trying to play it off like the shitty one some years ago doesn't exist. Plus the Happening looks ridiculously stupid.

TBH, wait 2 weeks for Wanted! But truth be told, I don't think I'll have anything better to do so I might go and see Hulk and then see if I can't get into the happening afterwards without paying. If you time it right and there's enough people, it can be done, except it will be opening day, so probably not a good idea since there'll probably be lines... oh screw it, I'll just wait and try my plan for another day.
I'd rather see the Hulk.
M. Night Shamalalan (sp? ) is pretty dissappointing. Sixth Sense was the only good movie I've watched made by him. Signs was... eh, kinda stupid. The Village was just plain stupid. Didn't bother to watch any of his other stuff. Don't think this will be any better, but I may be wrong.

Just got back from the Hulk ... well worth a trip to the movies. Excellent job. Good plot, mostly good acting, and good special effects. So I'll give it:

(a) The end scene had a woman and child which completely took me out of the movie ... there is NO WAY that a mom and her kid would be anywhere close to that scene.
(b) I hate Liv Taylor's acting.
(c) My friend felt that the CG was below top quality, and he felt that it needed improvement.
