hurricane, I could agree to almost all of your points, except, killing a puppy isnt going to do anything to taint a marine's honor.

A Marine's honor, probably not... but this video got all this coverage, and I'm certain a fair few people now think the USMC is full of people who do this sorta stuff.

To reiterate for everyone else: it's terrible that (I'm assuming the puppy was in fact real?) an animal got killed for no reason... but things happen. It's one animal dying when many many humans died that day. In an ideal world there'd be no animal abusers... but fuck, in an ideal world we wouldn't have war either.

it's not like people are going and making videos of them killing innocent people on youtube...

and i would care just as much if it were full-grown rather than a puppy...

Um, what? You seriously think if it was a full grown dog nobody would have cared? That's bullshit. Remember the uproar there was on these forums after someone posted pictures of that supposed "art" display of a guy starving a full grown dog?

would you say those people being 'ethnically cleansed' (AKA murdered) in Darfur aren't innocent?

No human being (once they get to around 10-11) is innocent. Some might be more innocent than others (them) but no human is innocent. Babies are innocent and so are toddlers, but animals remain innocent their entire lives.

Someone who doesn't have the urge to do bad nor have they done bad. It's a bit hard to explain my viewpoint on this.

Animals run on instincts. When they kill, they kill for survival and food.
