Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt -- contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem. They take that as a given.

As the Jerusalem Post reports, "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background. In an interview with Army Radio he expressed a special salutation from the Obamas of Kenya."

Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro).
I wonder how much of this is true ? What else is he not telling us

And as to Obama outright denying this Muslim thing - uh he's a politician and he never did that, he dodged the issue skillfully. He said that he wasn't Muslim. Despite being raised Muslim and having a Muslim father, there is no reason this statement is false. He didn't say that he was raised one and his father was Muslim because he wasn't asked and like any sane political candidate didn't elaborate.

I'm sick of the whole pigeon-holing of Obama's race anyway. We know he has Caucasian, African and Arab ancestry, isn't that enough?

I don't understand what the bombshell is, he has relatives in Kenya that describe his upbringing as Muslim?

He has belonged to a christian church for 20 years. I guess the media will continue to hide who he is until after he is elected. How hard is it to put together a biography on this mans past?

Like I said, he is everything to everybody. He is diverse enough to represent everyone, and is too diverse to really be called anything I think. Maybe he is the quintessential American.

I had decided that I was an atheist before my Confirmation and my sons christening. I still played along for my mothers benefit as she is very religious. Like Obama I played along for my family's benefit.
