I need some advice (Got a job interview)

What should I wear, the job is an "Amusement Arcade Attendant" (at Butlins)

(oh I kinda need this job otherwise I may not be able to afford next months Phone/Internet bill)

So any tips/advice will be welcome, but I'm really only worried about what to wear lol)

Have you been there before? If so, then what do the people that are likely to be interviewing wear? A holiday rep (or similar) sort of outfit, or suits?

Don't wear a black shirt, go out and buy a light coloured one. Jeans should be fine. Shoes are better than trainers, but smart-ish/clean trainers are better than dirty shoes.

haven't been there (the only Butlins people I've seen are red coats, but I won't be one of them)

I don't really have time to buy a light shirt because I don't live near any shops that sell smart clothes, darn rural Somerset!
(they rang me today asking for me to go to an interview tomorrow morning)

I got some nice shoes so they will do, maybe need a polish (trainers are a bit too scuffed)

Just make sure the clothes you wear are clean, fit well (no baggy pants and XXXXXXXXXXL jerseys) Don't where a hat inside and just look presentable. Its an arcade job so you don't need to wear a suit.

Make sure that you dress better than the employees - so if they're in nice pants, make sure you wear nice pants and not jeans. A nice button down shirt with khaki or black dress pants would be fine, and make sure you're groomed nicely.

This is the first job I've been able to apply for in 1, maybe 2 months, so I'm just kind of nervous. (there may not be another job that I can do come along for some time)

Nice jeans that fit nicely and a good pair of shoes. Don't have to be shiny or anything, but business casual stuff. A collared shirt (polo or button down) or just a nice, clean t-shirt (solid color, not baggy, no logos except maybe the brand).

Since it's an arcade job, it's not that huge. But dress nicely. Groom yourself well and you'll be fine. Don't stink. Shower before if you have to.

And to the guy who said it's not how you dress, but how you act: WRONG. It's a combination.

Arrg, the interview went great, but I have to go back again for a "more in-depth" interview and then have a trial period (not worried though, he liked me, maybe too much lol)

lo i just remember ed something funny when I got there

I wasn't too sure about where I was going so I asked a woman with a butlins tag on

me: Hi, I'm here for an interview with [insert name here], do you know where I can find him?
Her: *blankly stares at me* sorry, what did you say?
