Qft. Public trackers are made of fail and AIDS. I only use them in the rare case of the stuff I want not being available on the privates I visit.SpIk3y wrote:
Public trackers are like that, but if you're using a fast private tracker with people who like to share (read: good ratios), it's not an issue at all.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
So does Bittorrent, and they have almost the exact same interface.CapnNismo wrote:

Yea, torrents aren't illegal. The US Army uses them to get their video game out. The only thing illegal is what you download ...
uTorrent is probably the best of the torrent runners, though. Runs in its own, self-contained EXE. No more, no less.
EDIT: @Freezer, where do you go for your torrents? PM.

Oh, and Finny, I presume you mean BitComet? BitComet uses a lot more resources than uTorrent, but it will work without any special ports opened, which can be a problem with uTorrent.

Highest speed I ever get is 30 kb/s
I get 350 kb/s on normal files. And my provider doesn't cap torrents.
So I have no idea wtf is going on. I have learned to deal with it.
