You need to get rid of the fat with cardio workouts.
Hit the heavy bag, run, bike, or do anything that gets you breathing hard and sweating.
Stop eating junk food.

Having a good healthy diet and lowering your bf% and doing the correct excercices crunches, leg raises and sidebends (the ones I often like to do) work for me.
Running / cardio is also good (one of the things I really like to do)
Edit: Bookmark this link btw.
Good luck!
Serious running shoes are practically material with a base for the spikes. If you look after your body you won't have any short term or long term effects. Sure if you are running on pavement its gonna hurt, that why I run in the park. Anyway I was only giving him options to start running now rather than waiting till he gets shoes, which isn't an excuse.Ender2309 wrote:

Belly fat is fat, and needs to be lost by cardio. The problem is the belly fat is covering the muscle so you have to lose the fat before the muscle will show, situps simply build muscle they dont remove fat.ThaReaper wrote:
What things are there to do to workout abs and make them nice and tone? I do crunches and sit ups and stuff, but I don't think that's going to get rid of the small belly fat covering up the muscle.
15 more years! 15 more years!
Join a kickboxing class...it offers both cardio and muscle toning. So, once you have burned the fat you will have sweet toned muscles to boast. I am in my 2nd week of a class and let me tell ya...I am crazy sore.

if you're doing planks, lift and extend one arm forward, while simultaneously lifting and extending the opposite leg ( if you raised your right arm raise your left leg). it helps with core and whatnot.
