contrary to popular opinion in this thread DONT ask her to a movie. Go somewhere where'll you'll have more of a chance to chat to eachother and get to know eachother. Its important to try to have a decent conversation on your first date, because you'll know if you h ave things in common, if you can make her laugh/smile. Or if its becomes just too much effort to think of things you two can actually talk about, its a sign that you dont have much in common or aren't feeling open with each other, so it probably wont work in the long term.

As for the asking her out, be confident strike up a conversation with her, if its busy, ask her if she wants to go for a walk n talk, then when you feel ready ask, or if you dont feel ready, man up and force yourself. Jus say something like "so do you fancy goin to *blah* at the weekend, just us two?"

If she says yes, act cool, dont get all excited n shit
If she says no, try not to seem to bothered, also if you get an excuse try to think it through later, how did she seem when she said no. If she sounded a little bit upset when saying it, it means she probably did have a real excuse. If she gets flustered then she is probably thinking of something to not hurt your feelings, so let it go if its that. Or if its just an "I like you, but not in that way" try to move on.

Good luck

So, like the title says.

I'll tell you the story: I like this girl in my year, and i know she likes me, cause her friends told me several times, but i left it late. I'm planning on asking her out tomorrow, and i don't know what to say/do.

Like what if she says yes? Or no? What would i say for the actual question?

There is a slight possibility that another guy likes her but i won't take that into account .

So anyways, i've liked her a while and left it till the last couple of weeks before we break up for work experience and summer...
lulz join the club mate

i let time play its self out and i see what happens

IMO: When there's even the slightest chance, go for it. I've had loads of chances I missed because I was scared of the consequences, and then later found out that the answer would have been in my favor. So gogogogogo...
I'd ask her to the movies or something. Eye contact is good, make sure she notices. ^^
When it's done, ask her to do something else, or to hang out at your place (don't make that sound sleazy). Usually, a yes to that can only be good.

edit: Above only applies if you know her already... As in, have talked to her for at least half an hour before ^^

K... so i'm asking her to go to the movies, wait for the answer, don't sound hurt if she says no, but don't be too pleased if she says yes.

Yes, go somewhere you can relax n chat. I have plenty of close girl mates, and they've often said, taking a girl to the movies is one of the most boring date you can do. You can't talk, you cant "get to know each other", hell in most cinemas the only thing you can do is hold hands cos anything else is too awkward!

I'd say go out for a drink, but I'm guessing you're not old enoguh yet. Anywhere you can really get to know eachother n chat is good

Don't go shopping, go for a coffee (provided you both like coffee, if not, any drinks place/cafe where you can talk works.) And be a friggin Gentleman, I hate seeing men who treat women like shit. Manners cost nothing.

Yet another reason for Starbucks, I should point out here

Nothing like sitting back with your favourite drink, in some comfy seats, just getting to know each other It's a wonderful experience.

This is probably been mentioned..

But don't "ask a girl out" as in.. "will you be my GF"

Ask her our as in.. "Wanna go see a movie"...

Cause whenever I asked a girl out by doing the cliche "will you be my GF" thing.. It always got really awkward becaue you just went from friends to BF and GF and you don't know what you should do next..

The other way, you can take it slowly.. see if shes really into you.. and you don't have that obligation like.. Should we kiss now.. blah blah blah..

Anyways.. hope it turns out alright..

FUCKING... HELL.

I was scrolling through my emails to see if i did email the essay i just typed up to myself, and i only found a Trackr invite.

Fucksake.

New lesson learned: Actually read emails when they come in, always read and delete, don't not bother to even open up hotmail, or let it build up to 360 emails unread.
