Our soldiers don't get immunity even though they are given unrealistic orders by the cowards in the US government.
Here take this rifle and fight a war in which the terrorist and civilians look the same, if you shot someone everyone will always say they were a civilian and you will be considered a criminal.

Also, while your doing your job I am going to send camera men along so they can film a narrow view of what is going on and everyone can second guess your actions at their leasure.
