Ducks are pretty cool pets, but unless you live on a large piece of land, I would advise against it. Their shits will ruin your yard. I know from experience, as I have had ducks, geese, ostriches, emus, peacocks, etc. You want to provide them a nice little pond, but that has to be cleaned out constantly. And after your investment, they may just decide to fly off one day.

Hopefully you'll find their mother.
