I'll tell you this:

It would take you a year to get to the top rank in BF2 even with steady play.

It would take you about 3 weeks, if that, to get to the top rank in BC.

I wish they'd add more ranks with the Conquest DLC that's coming. Maybe a prestige-esque thing.
