Hey is this game worth buying for single player only?
Not really.
the single player is awful, linear, very little story, just shoot everything that moves.
Anyone know when the new mappack comes out?
I'm getting bored of Harvest Day and and so forth.

Well, at what we've seen with EA, it's about whenever they damn feel like it. Hopefully soon, I don't think they'd make everyone wait so long, since they're aiming to give CoD some competition on the console, but since it's free they can take as long as they like...SEREVENT wrote:

Well gee, all the battlefield games never really were single player supported. This is just a start miggleMiggle wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
why does the single player matter at all, If you want to put it in, at least make it worth the time.War Man wrote:

and make sure the multiplayer isn't complete shit before you make a shitty single player.
The multiplayer is fine, they are fixing problem as we speak. And also, you won't be able to improve if you can't make it at all, meaning it will stay the same until it is made then the makers have some experience. The next bf game will have a much more improved campaign (if it has a campaign), think about itMiggle wrote:

Edit: I was referring to the campaign on the second sentence

For the first campaign in the BF series, it wasn't total garbage, it was just more stupid humor, and a bit of a "Kelly's Heros" rip-off. (It's a movie made about the exact same thing--a squad of soldiers go deep behind enemy lines for gold bars).
Same concept, but different way of executing it. Fair point by the wayTopHat01 wrote:

Meh the fact that its there first attempt, or that the other games didn't have it doesn't mean anything.War Man wrote:

Its a game, its for playing, intentions don't change the way its plays.
The single player isn't TERRIBLE, but it isnt good, and its not worth it alone. They even said it was originally a multiplayer only game, but they decided to throw in single player... that fact VERY MUCH shows...
I need help. I'm on the mission where you have to take out the 3 radio towers (this mission is near the beginning of the campaign). After I take out the second tower, a stupid Russian chopper comes out of nowhere and starts peppering me and my men. I can't run from it, it just follows me and kills me, and I can't go and blow up the last tower because there are too many men around.
How do I kill it?
How do I kill it?
I haven't all i did was run in a zig zag pattern to the next barn.
Tell me the level name, it should say something such as "Air Force One"Ryan wrote:

Try getting into a vehicle and firing the turret at it. That's how I killed it. It'll take a while, but you'll get it eventually.
Oh the 3rd(or was it 4th?) missionPoseidon wrote:

I've found it really fun to play Final Ignition/Ascencion as Specialist.
The shotgun noobs just never know what hit them. I just need 1 more of the trophies where you destroy the last crate. Not very easy now that i want it
