Anime is Gay nuff said. Although I do admit i did enjoy evangelion because of the ending.

And if you want a longer and more detailed description? Well here it is in one word. "Archetypes" All Anime's have nearly the same Character Archetypes. Whether it be the Young and Brash kid, who's good hearted and the main protagonist of the story, The Emo reluctant hero/Point of interest, The Shy emotionally vulnerable girl(Who 99% of the time is in love with the protagonist), The outgoing love interest of the protagonist, Tough guy(usually black or dark skinned), Bat shit insane girl(It's always a girl), Sex symbol, Stud, Emo stud, Show off stud, Traitor, Or it be the Pervert, Closest pervert, Wise old man(Who also might be a pervert), Teacher, Emo teacher, etc etc. They all appear in each and every anime in some way. These characters are either really flashy, or really emo. They are not strong enough to stand on their own without one another and thats why they are included in almost each and every anime show. Now the few that do break the mold, And have changed or little to none archetypes, Are either really really crappy, or Really good. Not excellent but Good.

How do I know so much about Anime you may be asking yourself? Well from 10-12 i use to watch a hell lot of toonami on cartoon network with shows like DBZ and Gundam wing, Which got me interested in more animes. From that point on i would go into stores and being the(Altough a term not  known at the time) Annoying weeaboo asking for Matrix anime, or DBZ uncut movies. It got to the point where I was collecting Yu-yu hakusho dvd's for 30$ a pop, For only 4 episodes. Then it hit me when i was 13. Wtf was I doing? This wasn't cool and interesting! This was the same shit rehashed and resold under different names! That's when I quit. Cold fucking turkey. If you ask me now what I thought of myself back then I'd say... Cool, Hip, Alternate, Unique. Now i'd say... Pathetic faggot who got obsessed with something that made others laugh at you in your face!

Listen to me Gate you're what 15? maybe 16? By 18 you'll grow out of it and see how pathetic it was(I used to have the online handle for HL:DM as GokuSuperSaiyan115, Yeah it got me alot of complaints, Especially when I started using the mic)

I have friends who watch extremely obscure anime but i'm not really into most of it. I have watched a decent amount though. Berserk, Ninja Scroll, & Excel Saga are probably my favorites from what I can remember watching myself.

If you like Manga, look for Blame!.

Thats because you weren't watching the right anime. What you listed IS made for 12 year olds.
