Just because i scrapped a wall in a carpark, when i went at 130kmh without problems. Crap, how do i convince them to let me drive alone?
dont hit anything for a long time
buy your own car
130 on an open road at midnight is not as bad as 60 in heavy traffic
anyone can go fast, it takes an expert to maneuver through tight spots
Just drive properly for a while, and they'll get bored, and drop the issue

Uhhhh don't scrape walls?
Not really an open road, its packed with cars and its on the highway. So most of the time, i am like quite close to someones rear, not tailgating though.
1. Try not to mention anything that could remind them of your scrape with the wall. That is, if they're quick to forgive and forget.
2. Try to drive cautiously, slow and easy, follow every rule to make yourself look like the greatest law-abiding driver on the road. Praise can come from this. "Mom, Dad, don't forget your seatbelt." Try to adopt this method of driving, as after this small accident, it could make you look better. Eventually, you'll get used to driving safely, pleasing your parents.
3. Hmm, if they want to see if you really care about driving properly, try to pick up some books or videos on driving. Be it Driving for Dummies or some cheap 30 min of cheesy dos-and-don'ts, you could learn a thing or two, and get on your parent's good side. Heck, if you've got the time and effort, write an essay on driving safely.
4. Make sure they don't catch you here, asking us for advice. That would make you look irresponsible, leading to bigger problems. So, erase your history once in a while if you're using a public computer. Don't erase the whole history folder for that day, if they're the least bit tech-savvy, they'll notice this. Just delete the BF2s part within that folder, or just delete the links concerning this thread.

They are probably right to do so, the death rate for kids between 16-18 is crazy. Out of your classes , one out of 4 will die in an automobile accident. Just slow down because they have proved that speeding only gets you to a place seconds sooner , & I don't want to be pissed at you when you do something stupid on the road with me. A car is a huge responsibility & I would have taken it completely away from you, so count yourself lucky on 2 counts so far. Don't you ever drive drunk, pass out instead.
Slow down, Be defensive & prove to your parents that you can be responsible consistently.

60kmh is about 42mph btw. 130kmh is about 92mph so he wasnt going really fast in the first place.S.Lythberg wrote:

You are telling me that in my class of 32, 8 are going to die in a car accident? 25%? Those odds seem far too high.TrollmeaT wrote:

Dont drive at 130km/h. Ezpecially with them in the car.
Why would you going that fast impresss them? More than likely it would make them realise they can't trust you to drive safely

Yeah I can't really see that myself.kylef wrote:

I'm pretty sure those were the odds for being affected by cancer, not being hit by a carMitch92uK wrote:

What I think he meant is that out of those who are going to die, 25% of those deaths will be in a car accident.
Anyways anyone can drive fast; it's the easiest thing.
Driving slowly through tight obstacles, that's much more difficult. You're not doing yourself any favours boasting how good you are by saying you can drive fast.

130kmh is supposed to be fast?
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Get your own car
see how fast you can go round the corners at the end of the street thatll convince them that youre a "wonderful" driver.
Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.

Your parents are right and you shouldn't drive alone if you're that arrogant. Honestly I'm sick of the people that think "Hey I can drive well at 130km/h or 150km/h so I'm a good driver" - that's bullcrap. If you think that you're not mature enough to operate a car.Ayumiz wrote:

You're not a good driver just because you can drive fast.

130kmh and your parents won't let you drive alone? What the hell are they thinking? Oh, they care about you and took the necessary step to save your speedy ass from yourself and others. Chill out, drive slow and responsible. You'll get your alone privilege back eventually, please don't drive like you used to. Some of us have family members on the road and when you drive around that fast you may not only hurt yourself, but you may hurt them as well.Ayumiz wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
Yeah crap seems like i gotta convince them.
