Girls Softball

This was bothering me yesterday, just thought I'd bring it up. Why don't girls play baseball but they play softball?

I don't see why they can't play baseball, did whoever thought up the sport think that women don't have the mental capacity to hit a smaller ball? I really don't see the reason why they play softball. If they are stubborn on softball then why do they have to throw the ball underhand? I bet most of the softball players could beat my ass but they can't throw a ball overhand? My dad claims that they can throw it faster underhand but if that was the case then every major leauge pitcher would throw it underhand, that's my logic.

Just me thinking, why cant they play baseball?

I think I read somewhere that throwing the ball underhand, rather than overhand, is more ergonomic.

But I dunno why there are two differnent sports for each gender.

Well think about it, if throwing underhand was in any way better to the play than the major leauge teams would throw it underhand. They throw overhand so there's obviously a reason why, why do softball players throw underhand

Thought: Do work or career softball teams with men throw underhand?

It's not better to the play. By ergonomic he means it's easier for the pitcher who is less likely to dislocate their shoulder by pitching over arm. But the ball is slower and less accurate than an overarm throw. Which is why men do it the proper way.

Oh pfft, Women's baseball is just a joke so it can be equal for women and men. The majority of women play softball. You don't see women baseball teams in High school, etc.

The Distance from the Pitcher to the catcher is closer then in Baseball.. The reaction time required to hit a softball is higher then to hit a baseball..

I'm talking about averages, 73 is the average. MLB players can pitch much faster that 93 but im talking about averages.
