sick! I can play this piece of music with a real guitar pretty well (although most leads are nothing but overdubbed timestreched gimmicks), but with GuitarHeroIII this is nearly impossible...

Damn what a loser. I actually bought Guitar Hero II back for PS2 to see what the hype was about. I beat it on medium on the first day. I tried hard but it got a bit too out of hand. After a week, I sold it to a friend practically brand new. I actually play a real guitar so I figured, instead of practicing for hours upon hours to learn how to master the songs the game MAKES you play on expert that after a few years from now nobody will care because Guitar Hero will be lame then, I will spend hours upon hours to learn how to master the songs I WANT to play where people can be entertained for years.

Eh FrankieSpankie, if u say u play real guitars, you might have an idea that the game has absolutley nothing to do with real guitars but the original Gibson or Kramer logo.
I can play nearly every song out of those games with closed eyes and reversed hands on real guitars, but I cant play some of the game songs on the wicked Gibson Les Paul controller, why? Because you dont play music here, u only have to coordinate your hands-fingers and eyes. You play single note strokes where u doesnt even pick a string on a real guitar...
Imo, anybody who plays any of the songs completley in expert shows too much time, good hand-eye coordination and a so called skill of learning something in and out.
Nontheless its impressive.
