they are most likely not insured. they are under 25 (no company will hire an exotic to an under 25 unless they're insane)
apparently someone old enough/qualified hires them out for the weekend/night, then he will hire them out to people (read: asians) who couldn't do normally
so if they crash or damage them they're bummed and the guy loses his deposit
