seal we have a different consumer-culture towards cars over here. they're not things you borrow from a company. they're statements of wealth that you buy, own, and YES INDEED lose money on. because you can. that's part of wealth. you piss, burn and throw money away. if my uncle is disposed to flippantly get rid of a relatively-new top-spec range rover because he likes the look of the new audi, then it's probably common-sense to assume he doesn't care too much about how much money he loses. fuck, he was probably already hemorrhaging the stuff just on keeping the range rover running in the first place. i dont know or care, my point is still the same re: leasing cars. all i can definitely say is that 'by my logic', american middle class and english middle class are two very, very different things. talking about how big a house is in square-foot is a fucking prime indicator of that.

you might want to go back to page 63.

i guess im more into classic cars that gain an extreme amount of value rather than piss away money on some new car.

newest car that is "owned" is an 03 Z51 with 700 torque. but thats for different purposes than driving around for a sunday drive.

i just figured that 36 months ill be at a different place in my life where I wont even need a car and wont want to worry about selling it.
