With the profits from our gas dollars they get decadent lifestyles and fablous wealth. With our border policy, we get our country trashed and African American youths are being driven out and/or put in the ground.

oh...they can do things with money - that's not the problem.  they use the money to pay others to do it for them rather than do the hard work themselves.  most of that construction work is outsourced.

Ernie Pyle (famous war correspondent) reported that back in WW2 when our troops were in North Africa, the US troops would pay an arab 5 bucks to dig a ditch and he'd come back with 2 others, pay each a buck and keep the 3 bucks as profit.  maybe i am wrong.  i look at this as an aversion to doing the work whereas others might look at this as being clever to turn a profit.  different viewpoints i guess.

it would be interesting to see what would have become of these countries if they couldn't just stick a straw in the ground and extract $$$ from the earth.  that is, if they actually had to manufacture goods, produce technology rather than importing it.  i believe they have the brain power to do this - it's just a matter of willpower in my mind.

They have the oil, you don't. Deal with it.

The Petrodollar has helped keep your economy buoyant for decades. So you get yours as well as the Arabs.

Coincidence that Saddam announced he was switching to the pertoeuro before his invasion and:

"March 2006, the Tehran government has plans to begin competing with New York's NYMEX and London's IPE with respect to international oil trades – using a euro-based international oil-trading mechanism."

American oil companies and particularly banks have been creaming off the Petrodollar for years. You have nothing to complain about.

They know the oil wealth is going to slow down so they are preparing for tourism. Its all financed by the Prince.

It seems like they know how to manage their money compared to the US. Kuwait I believe has the strongest currency in the world.

The Saudis are currently earning around $1bn a day with the current prices by pumping approx 11 milion barrels a day.

They going to start building cities in the desert the first one being 150sq km in size....which is about the size of the west bank.

My message is valid.
Look at their progress. See why.
Look at Santa Ana. See why.

Again. It is a condemnation of the policy. I don't fault a man that comes here. I can fault his lifestyle. You can't exploit a system that is not enforcing the law of the land. The very system is exploiting the citizens and laying waste to the middle class.

Dubai is quite a story.

Along with the exploding real estate, they have those crazy man made islands that can be seen from space ffs

https://www.dubaiforlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/dubai-aerial-photos-03.JPG
As well as some freaky / innovative ideas..revolving skyscrapers ?
https://www.fahad.com/pics/dubai_rotating_building_1_sm.jpg

It seems out of control, like something has to give.

Anyway, I was reading about the recent move of Haliburton's offices there-- and this puzzled me at the end of this article, they say that "oil is only 3% of the GDP" there...it's all services ?

Someone e-mailed me this the other day. Kind of raises a good point.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

OPEC sells oil for $136.00 a barrel.
OPEC nations buy U.S. Grain at $7.00 a bushel.
Solution: Sell grain for $136.00 a bushel.
Can't buy it?  Tough!   Eat your oil!
Ought to go well with a nice thick grilled filet of camel ass!!!

Then OPEC stops buying US grain, causing the US agricultural industry to tank causing farms to be shut down causing a massive food shortage causing anarchy to reign which means we will need to rely on Batman and his army of vigilantes to restore and maintain order.

Bad idea.

I think he was refering to the 12+ million Mexicans that have broke into our home.

There are Americans and nonAmericans that need to gtfo of the US.  Nothing was said that you should be taking offense too.
