It's raining and thundering out right now, and it came to me - is Thunder and Lightning not the coolest part of nature? I always get amazed by the most miniscule parts of nature, but thunderstorms take the cake.

For example:

Who the fuck is Charles Allison copyright 2001?

Lightning and thundering? Fuck your shitty weather, come to Vancouver, where it is pretty damn hot. Maybe Lytton, the hottest town in Canada. Fuck Canada, I have to work Tuesday. I don't get one day off this weekend, or any days around it. Yes, I am clearly aware that I am well off topic.

Yes, lightning is pretty cool to watch, though.

Lightning and thunderbolts are awesome imo.

It gets bad when you are out on the sea in a sailing boat and the thunderstorm hits and starts to  throw lightning bolt here and there even thou they ain't close.

Havn't seen a good thunderstorm in like 3 year.

Yeah - they are really fantastic. I love most elements of weather, even wind, but lightning tops it off. It's amazing to think that electricity is being transformed and discharged above us - when you see it, it's even better.

Fork is the best kind of lightning. Unfortunately, we usually don't get any, or just sheet. Which isn't as good.

Tornados are pretty amazing too. I mean, a big funnel of destructive wind - what's up with that?

My most memorable lightning storm was when I still was at my old house and this was quite some time ago.

It wasn't really any lightning bolts that I saw but more like the sound from it.

Either way I was stuck to the window and kept looking at the clouds that caused the thunderstorm and I saw quite a strong flash and the glass window (like 2 meter wide and 1.9 meter in height) was kinda like pushed back by that sound but never got destroyed. Friking awesome for me though after that my father didn't want me to stand close to it due to that I could get hit.

I once saw red sheet lightening (I believe it's called sheet, it's where it shoots across the sky), most awe-inspiring thing ever.

It aint shit, until you have thunderstorms and volcanic eruptions at the same time.

I'm disappointed in the best thunderstrikes I've seen now. I've never seen any of those storms with so much electrical discharge that you have multiple strikes across the sky, but only a big network thing. The purple-colored sky ones are epic, too.

You know what this calls for...

The best one I ever saw was at the beach, on this island. Riding in a golf cart from a restaurant to the house we were staying at in a thunderstorm, luckily we didn't get struck. Then I sat on the back porch (only 20 feet from the beach, great view of the ocean) and watched the lightning storm out at sea, the bolts striking the water. Epic.

I love rain and thunderstorms. It's like a nature show right outside my window. Summer's here, so I won't be seeing those in a while. And with supposed global warming . . .

Almost the same thing happened to me that was in the second video that Poseidon posted.

I was maybe three car lengths behind a car on the highway and it got struck by lighting, except this bolt hit the front hood. As I drove by, the whole front of the car was black because of it. Needless to say, I turned off all the electronics in my car after that. Not ten seconds later, a tree immediately off to my left got struck by lighting, splitting in two. I'm not usually scared during storms, but this one made me shit bricks.

I guess now is the right time to say that, fucking a girl hard during a thunderstorm is something i REALLY wanna do (I guess, it's just one of them things, it adds to the atmosphere).

If I ever decide to have children, my first born will be conceived during a thunderstorm
