I couldn't be bothered to make this thread before...

They're back together touring and I recommend anyone who can to check them out live if they come your way...

I saw them in Nova Rock and in all honesty they were fucking amazing..also saw Sex Pistols and Motorhead

Ive only heard one song of theres and I went and bought it, about 10-15 years ago now.

"Killing in the name of", havent heard much else like it.

With me getting on a bit now and due to be a Grandad in Sept the best I could manage would be Rage agaisnt the sewing machine

(not my joke I heard it elsewhere over the last few days)

Are they bigger now than what they used to be?

hahaha

They used to be pretty huge within the rock genre...Tom Morello the guitarist played for Audioslave aswell and his performance was bloody amazing

Did you know the song I bought?  Do they still preform it? There biggest hit to date? (it was) Do they still sing through a megaphone?

No further questions your honour.

This is getting like me asking my ol man what The Rolling Stones were like first time around.

I saw them last summer here.  They were alright.

I probably wouldn't admit to seeing the Sex Pistols even if I had.

I would.  I wouldnt give a rats arse what people thought of me due to my music taste.  I will bore you all again with my tale of going to see The Spice girls with my Mum and my Niece but it would be disrespectful to Teddy's thread.  Point being, Teddy can go and see who he likes and people shouldn't judge "a brother" on his musical tastes. Word.

Bloody hell it's very much Cypress Hill'ish, Im glad to see the young man has dropped the Megaphone I can understand what he's saying now.  As this song has played on I have started to recognise it actually.

In regards to The Rolling Stones I only like Satisfaction and their daughters.  Their daughters isn't a song.

fuck Metallica how long have they been touring in Europe? Why can't they come to the US for once?

I'd love to go to this show tbh... Metallica, RATM, A7X, Anti-Flag... win lineup is win.

lulz, Virgin Fest (biggest show on the East Coast of the US) has a few OK bands... but then they have stuff like freakin' Kanye West and Lil' Wayne. Last good show to come through here was Gigantour and I couldn't even go to it

Urgh, Metallica...don't they realise that rock has over 9000 subgenres, Metallica belonging to the shitty ones. You can't just group them all togethor and call it "Rock concert"
