Hey guys. I use gamespot to check some reviews before i buy games as they seem pretty close to my tastes when it comes to reviews, But does anyone find it annoying that their top 10 popular games constantly have 2 games that are available to buy and a bunch of shit that doesn't come out for another 3 months?

Maybe its just me.

Ever since that whole Kane & Lynch thing, I've stopped reading that place. But I didn't really like them anyway, most American sites are such obvious X360 fanboys (no shit, American site, American console) - so I don't really bother reading reviews anymore

I never did anyway, other people/myself are better than "journalists"

I haven't gone to Gamespot.com ever since they game R&C Futures an undeserving low rating. The game was incredible, and got amazing ratings everywhere other than Gamespot.

The site is run by 360 fanboy faggots.

I don't know about that though, we never found out exactly why that guy was fired. And as for K&L, they went with the same score he was to give to it and the review that replaced that guy's was just as scathing as the review that was taken down. Also looking at metacritic, K&L got an average score of 65%, while GS gave it a 60%, slightly lower.

I tend to just avoid game reviews, If I want to know how good a game is I'll check bf2s or ask a friend.

Gamespot died after canning some of their better reviewers, and from then on, the rest of the good ones left, leaving unbiased monkeys that rate games on how much the publishers advertised. Ironically, when I was there as a forumer, I hardly used the site for game info.
